Angeline N. Beltsos, MD

Vios Fertility Institute is led by Chief Medical Officer and CEO Dr. Angie Beltsos, who is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), and has been practicing medicine since 1991. Dr. Beltsos completed her medical degree at Michigan State University in 1991 and her residency in OB/GYN at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, in 1995. She completed her fellowship in REI at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1997. Dr. Beltsos and Team Vios provide patients with innovative, cutting-edge fertility treatment options to meet the diverse needs of their family planning goals; they strive to be open-minded and forward thinking when evaluating new data, research, and technologies that have the potential to improve the care and results they provide to patients. Dr. Beltsos is the Founder and Executive Director of the Midwest Reproductive Symposium international, an international conference where the world’s leading fertility experts meet each year to examine and share the latest in fertility treatment, technological advancements, and ground-breaking medical research.

Steven H. Snyder, Esq. 

Steven H. Snyder, Esq., is the founding and principal partner of Steven H. Snyder & Associates, and he is the Director of IARC Surrogacy a full-service surrogacy agency, located in the U.S. in Minnesota. Mr. Snyder is an active leader in numerous professional organizations, including RESOLVE, the American Fertility Association, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the American Bar Association Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee. Mr. Snyder is the author of numerous articles and continuing legal education materials. He is also a frequent national and international lecturer and continuing legal education presenter in the area of assisted reproductive technology law. Mr. Snyder regularly contributes to various media interviews and publications as a legal expert in assisted reproduction and third party reproduction legal issues.

Frank Golden

Frank Golden has a B.S. in Management and over 14 years of expertise in consumer psychology. Throughout his career in various roles Frank was tasked with developing innovative processes to streamline the customer experience. Inspired by the success of his own journey to become a father Frank, joined with his Husband Adam to establish a third-party reproduction consulting agency: Golden Surrogacy. The pair now works passionately to assist all loving couples and individuals who wish to follow in their footsteps. Frank serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Path2Parenthood, and is also a representative on the Corporate Member Council of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). In addition, Frank is a professional member with RESOLVE, The National Infertility Association. In furtherance of education to promote gay parenting options, Golden Surrogacy is a major supporter of the not-for profit organization Men Having Babies; listed as one of their highly rated service providers. Frank has become a leading resource for those who wish to pursue a path to parenthood through gestational surrogacy.

Mohamad Irani, MD

Dr. Mohamad Irani completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a board-certified fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Irani’s clinical expertise comprises all aspects of reproductive medicine, including IVF, ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, egg donation, and LGBTQ+ reproduction. He received numerous awards for his clinical expertise, surgical skills, and medical research, including the New York Obstetrical Society Resident and Fellow Research Night Awards for outstanding research papers, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists award for surgical excellence. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts. He also serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals and annual meetings. With an interest in providing individualized and compassionate care, Dr. Irani utilizes state-of-the-art technology to help patients reach their dream of parenthood.

Leah Potter

After experiencing her own infertility journey, Leah began working at a local law firm assisting with Assisted Reproductive matters for over five years. Leah was able to help families navigate the complicated world of surrogacy, embryo adoption, egg/sperm donation to see them ultimately fulfill their dreams of becoming parents. Her passion for helping families, sparked by her own experience, inspired her to launch Family Choice Surrogacy. Prior to working in ART, Leah was an accomplished Organizational and Human Resources leader for 15 years in many different industries. She has led many teams and organizations to success. Leah has her B.S. in Organizational Leadership. Leah is a trained birth doula. She is currently pursuing her CD (birthing doula) and PCD (postpartum doula) certifications to assist our surrogates and parents with the birthing and bonding processes. Leah also volunteers as a Fruitful Fertility mentor to lend an ear and help make a difference for those suffering with infertility.

F. Nicholas Shamma, MD

Dr. F. Nicholas Shamma is a founding member of IVF Ohio Fertility Centers and the founder of Gift of Life Surrogacy Agency located in Sylvania, Ohio. Dr. Shamma is one of the leading reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists in Ohio and Michigan. Dr. Shamma is American Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has performed over 8,000 IVF cases and has helped several thousand couples achieve their dreams of parenthood. Dr. Shamma has over 150 publications and abstracts in the fields of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility. Along with consistently delivering personalized care and compassion, he understands the emotional aspects of infertility. Alissa Wolbers

Alissa Wolbers is the Director of Client Relations at Family Source Consultants. She has a true passion for helping couples achieve their dreams of parenthood. Alissa spends much of her time working directly with intended parents educating them on the surrogacy and egg donation process as well as discussing what makes FSC truly the best partner during their journey to parenthood. Alissa has an intimate knowledge of the joys and challenges of relying on third party reproduction to build a family as a member of the LGBT community. She and her wife struggled with infertility for years before welcoming their two daughters to their family in 2017 and 2018. One of her greatest joys is working tirelessly to serve her clients during such an important time in their lives.

Robin von Halle

Robin’s personal experiences with infertility led her to do extensive research and found limited alternative reproductive options. She then founded ARR in 1992, the first egg donor agency in the Midwest and one of the first in the country. Over 28 years, Robin worked to expand the acceptance of egg donation, built a comprehensive gestational surrogacy program, and created stringent quality controls that have become the industry standard. Since its founding, ARR has grown to become one of the premier egg donation and gestational surrogacy agencies in the United States. In her role as CEO, Robin works very closely with intended parents to ensure that they understand the egg donation and surrogacy processes and benefit from her vast experience in the industry. Robin holds dual degrees in Psychology and Social Work and is a proud member of ASRM and SEEDS.

Sherman L. Taylor II, Chairman of the board

Sherman is a technology manager in the Research & Development organization of Procter & Gamble, based in Cincinnati, OH. Sherman received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Colloids, Polymers and Surfaces from Carnegie Mellon University. Sherman leads of group of scientists and engineers to create new and improved consumer products; he has worked across a variety of brands in his career including Pampers, Vicks, PuR, Swiffer, Magic Erasers, Bounce and Downy. Sherman also leads the design of corporate training programs to accelerate the growth and development of New Hires upon entering the company. Sherman and his husband Andrew have two sons via surrogacy, born in 2013 and 2017.

Jenny Congiardo, Director of Operations

Jenny joined MHB in October 2017 and held several roles in the organization before being appointed as Director of Operations. She brings her many years of non-profit and corporate communications experience to help improve MHB’s efficiency and effectiveness, while drawing on her experience in the education field to help make every person’s experience with MHB rewarding and pleasant. Jenny received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida, and she enjoys living with her husband and two children among the happy faces in sunny Florida.

Sara Miller, Director of Business Development

Sara joined the Men Having Babies team in June of 2020 as the Director of Business Development. Her primary focus is to expand and strengthen strategic partnerships with fellow third party reproductive professionals, to allow continued growth and education of the Men Having Babies' mission. Sara has a Bachelor's Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, and completed two years of an MD program at The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine before opting to discontinue her medical studies to spend more time with her growing family. Sara spent 10 years doing consulting work for a leading biotech company, before working as a Case Manager followed by Program Director and COO for a surrogate and egg donation agency. Additionally, Sara is a one-time surrogate, delivering in 2019 for a same-sex couple in Spain.

Ron Poole-Dayan, board member / Executive Director

Ron is the executive director and founder of Men Having Babies. He has over 20 years of experience in marketing and business strategy development both in the USA and internationally. Ron earned his Masters degree in political economy and comparative politics from Columbia University, and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ron is married to Greg Poole-Dayan, the COO of the Wartburg, a leading provider of senior healthcare and residential services in NY. The couple met in 1994, and are among the first same-sex couples in the nation to father children through gestational surrogacy. The twins, born in 2001, were conceived with the use of eggs donated by Greg's sister, and carried by a gestational carrier. Ron has been the MHB program coordinator since 2005, and was appointed as the Executive Director of Men Having Babies upon its incorporation in July 2012.

Lisa Schuster, GPAP Program Director

Lisa joined the MHB team in January of 2018 as the Stage II GPAP Case Manager, and was later promoted to GPAP Program Manager. Lisa’s responsibilities include development of ongoing partnerships in support of the assistance program, development of practices and initiatives to further the scope and reach of the program, coordination of the selection and matching process of Stage II candidates, and managing their journeys and budgets until they become parents. Lisa’s professional background is in business development and government contracting, and she also served as treasurer and financial planner for a local non-profit. Lisa was a gestational carrier twice for an international same sex male couple, and she lives with her husband and three children in Maryland.
