Known for its unbiased, comprehensive conferences for gay men, the nonprofit Men Having Babies (MHB) is once again teaming up with several European partners to introduce you to everything you need to know and everyone you need to meet to start your parenting journey. Attending the conference requires proof of vaccination, and MHB is implementing extensive COVID-19 protocols to allow you to safely interact and consult with gay dads, experts, and 30 reputable American and Canadian gay-friendly agencies, clinics, law firms, and other surrogacy providers.

The program includes informational sessions with medical, legal and financial experts as well as practical advice specifically suitable for European gay men, and even sessions with country-specific information. Furthermore, we will offer guidance on taking advantage of MHB's expanding online resources, monthly workshops and support groups for our members, and new opportunities for significant savings on the costs associated with the surrogacy process.

On the Friday before the conference (November 5), we will once again host the Advocacy & Research Forum, for those who are interested to further discuss and influence social, ethical, legal and empirical aspects of surrogacy and LGBT parenting. The topic this year will be Surrogacy Families in Europe: Stigma and Stereotypes (more details soon).

Across most of Europe gay men who want to become fathers face serious legal, cultural, and financial obstacles. With over 12,000 future and current gay parents worldwide, the nonprofit organization Men Having Babies (MHB) is dedicated to helping gay men become parents. Proceeds from sponsorship fees benefit the Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP) and are earmarked for prospective adoptive or surrogacy parents from Europe.

November 6-7, 2021.

The Hotel
Boulevard de Waterloo 38, 1000

Attendees can benefit from special group rates for hotel accommodations at The Hotel.

While the event is organized by gay parenting organizations, non-gay prospective parents are welcome and will no doubt highly benefit from it as well.

The early bird advance cost is €55 per person (instead of €65 starting October 11th, and €75 at the door) for prospective parents (discount available to members of MHB, APGL, Homoparentalités, Meer dan Gewenst, VFLLD and SGD).

Note: we strongly encourage advance registration for both days - past events have sold out.

The conference will be mainly in English with simultaneous translation to French, Dutch, and German in all of the main sessions. Simultaneous translation is sponsored by Alcea Surrogacy.
