It will take place on October 6th, 2013, at the JCC's facilities on Manhattan's upper west side. Following the successful format of previous conferences in NY, Los Angeles, Barcelona and Tel Aviv, the upcoming seminar and expo will bring under one roof experts, parents and surrogates who will share their experiences, and representatives of leading clinics and surrogacy agencies from around the USA and beyond.

Three European universities looking for gay surrogacy dads for a New Parents Study

As previously reported, new surrogacy dads are now wanted for an unprecedented study of new parents in the UK, France, and the Netherlands. The 3 year study will focus on male couples who became parents through surrogacy, compared with groups made of heterosexual surrogacy parents and lesbian headed families who were aided by donor insemination. Family Q partners with MHB, offers a support group, workshops and free family therapy for our members

We encourage members of our network to take advantage of services offered by Family Q, a ground-breaking NY program of the Institute of Human Identity (ihi). Among these services are support groups, workshops and family therapy for gay parents and prospective parents. Our members will be eligible for free follow-up counseling sessions if they either attend Family Q’s workshop or one of ours. (see details below). Read More...

Fourteen sponsors and 200+ attendees made MHB's 3-day conference in Israel our most successful yet!

With the enthusiastic and hard working team of the Tel Aviv Gay center as a partner, Men Having Babies has produced its most elaborate and well attended conference yet! The three-day extended-format conference attracted about 200 intended parents from around Israel (and several couples from Italy and Germany), dozens of parents who came with their children for a surrogacy family reunion, fourteen agencies and clinics from around the world, the Tel Aviv mayor and other dignitaries, and much press attention. Proceeds from sponsorship fees will allow us to award three financial assistance grants to Israeli gay men in the coming months. Read More...

About 150 prospective parents attended Men Having babies’ 8th annual expo, where several large donations to the new Gay Parenting Financial Assistance Fund were announced. Additional funds are to be raised in an October 1st fundraiser featuring comedians Judy Gold and Alyse Kenny (among others), where hundreds of parents will join at the NYC Gotham Club in solidarity to help make the dream of parenthood within reach to more of their less affluent friends. Extraordinary personal stories to be featured at this year's NY Men Having Babies seminar

One of the most popular segments of our annual seminars has always been the personal stories panel, featuring parents, surrogates and egg donors. The panel on September 22 will be no exception, with two two-times surrogates, one of them was introduced by the first parents she helped to the second couple at a Men Having Babies workshop several years ago.
