Is $35,000 the new normal surrogate fee?

How much were the nominal surrogacy fees (excluding expenses and reimbursements) in your surrogacy journey (you can answer as a parent or surrogate). The surrogate mom in the new NBC show mentions $35,000... Is this normal today? Go to the poll to vote!

The NBC show "The New Normal" features gay people becoming parents through surrogacy as a growing and more widely accepted phenomena. As people for whom this is our reality (parents, surrogates, egg donors and even doctors and nurses), we welcome the show. We furthermore wish to use our real life experiences to add depth in a less Holywood-like fashion. Our commentary will add and contrast our stories
